You may see some hints of Greek Mythology if you look close. But mostly, you'll see different versions of an angry fella who wants to 'wrassle.' The actual company had nothing to do with mythology, Sumo, or any other kind of wrestling. This was just a fun little tangent taken early in the exploration phase of branding.
The original concept came from the Greek god of the sky, Zeus. So someone thought he might need a greek-ish beard, like you would see on an ancient statue.
After a while, all I could see was a young, angry Ed Asner in a diaper.
Then I started seeing NFL Linebacker, TV and Film star, Dick Butkus. So I had to do a version of him.
Stickers. Everyone loves stickers. Right?
